Full Time Position

System Integrator / IT Helpdesk Engineer

As an IT Helpdesk Engineer you will act as the first point of contact for Managed Service customers contacted Covertech to report issues and faults relating to their service.
The primary objective of the role is to provide first time resolution. This will be achieved by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolved problems at the first point of contact and/or escalating the fault to one of our 2nd line specialist teams to investigate and resolve.


  • Configure, debug and support Microsoft Windows Server and Firewall based on the clients’ requirements.
  • Monitor the infrastructure’s performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with vendors for solutions with Remote Management Tools.
  • Heading the Helpdesk for best practices and ensuring the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and planning for meeting future technology needs.
  • Managing Ticketing Portal and report the completed jobs to clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Windows OS, Network Security, CCNA, Cloud Computing.
  • Preferably Senior Executive or Assistant Manager specialized in System Integration, IT Helpdesk Support or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Assertive and Good customer service
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel.

IT Helpdesk Internship

The IT Helpdesk Intern's role is focused on helping end users be :
successful, secure, and productive using the technology assets provided to them. The IT Helpdesk Intern will work at the direction of the Senior IT Engineer. This is a paid internship opportunity.


  • Provide outstanding customer service to all end users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technology issues.
  • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
  • Load and configure all required software including office applications, E-mail, Anti-Virus, and internet programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college/university Computer Science or Information Technology degree program.
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft Desktop Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Visio, OneNote).
  • Fundamental understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN).
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
